National ACT

The ACT is a college admissions test designed to measure a student’s readiness for college level coursework. Arkansas Tech University (ATU) accepts the ACT for admission purposes. Admission requirements, including minimum criterion for exam scores, may be viewed at https://www.atu.edu/admissions/requirements.php.

The ACT is composed of four (4) sections: English, Math, Reading, and Science. The maximum score in each area is a 36. The average score from the four (4) sections is called the composite score; this is the score that colleges and universities look at when considering admission and scholarships. ACT will grade these tests, and the results are available through your ACT web account.
